Job Description

The above hourly vacancy exists in the Technical Training Centre to meet the Company’s Training objectives by providing facilitation and assessments for Apprentice Programmes. To be an effective Training Officer with all-round plant knowledge and full understanding of all modules presented.

Key Job Functions

Identify Toyota, Merseta / NAMB training needs
Facilitation, assessment and moderation of apprentices/artisans and all modules presented at T.T.C
Conduct trade test testing/assessment (Internal and External) Welding- apprentices/Trade Person (Section 26A)
Ensure full accreditation to Merseta/NAMB certificates.
Maintain full accreditation to Merseta /NAMB, Safety Compliance and ISO 14001 Compliance
Innovative ideas in training to ensure cost reduction.
Ensure all training records comply with the National Auditing Systems of Merseta/NAMB to 100%.
To prepare for Merseta/NAMB, ISO, BBBEE and SABS audits.
Ad hoc Administration.
Budget Control and management of spares and equipment.
Fabricate training aids for practical tasks
Rotation within all areas of the Technical Training Centre

Qualifications and Experience

N3 + Trade Tested in Welding
5 years “on the job “ experience essential
Assessor, Facilitator, Moderator Certificates [Advantageous]
